A Second Generation Kid

The 10 year old Angie is no stranger to the saying “You have to work twice as hard to be just as good.” Her mum has reminded her of this her entire life — and given her the responsibilities to prove it. However, Angie loves nothing more than drawing and day-dreaming all day long.
This is a short comic about wanting to be independent and assert your own identity against the responsibilities of being an immigrant child.
