1. Are the comics sold in the fair physical books?
The online comics fair is a digital fair, which means that when the customer buys a comic, they will only receive a downloadable link to download a portable document file (PDF) of the comics. No physical copies will be mailed.
  2. How does the fair work?
Once an item is purchased, you will receive a download link for the comic. The customer may only download the item once. In case of technical issues, please contact us at laydeezteam (at) gmail (dot) com.
  3. What is the refund policy?
The LDComics Online  Fair does not issue refunds for items purchased.
  4. What is the currency?
All of the products are priced in British pounds sterling. If that’s not the currency of your credit or debit card, your bank will make the conversion at the time of the transaction.
  5. Does LDC receive a commission on the sales? The artist receives all of the monies from the sales of their comics minus a Stripe transaction fee. LDC does not receive a commission.
  6. Does LDC own the comics produced in the fair?
No, the exhibitors grant LDC permission to sell their comics exclusively on its e-commerce platform for the duration of one month, 1 -31 July. Afterwards, the creator decides how the comics are distributed.
  7. Can I share the comics?
No, please do NOT share the file with others, as this only hurts the artists who are making a living creating comics. The purchase price includes one download, and is for your enjoyment only. Please recommend your favourite comics and the fair to others. We appreciate your support.
  8. How does one participate in the fair?
Exhibitors applied to the fair last July, and were invited to participate. Please follow LDC and sign up for our newsletter to receive updates for future events.
