Chris Shepherd

Chris Shepherd is a British writer, graphic novelist and filmmaker known for his innovative blend of live-action and animation. Born in Liverpool in 1967, he has received multiple accolades, including BAFTA nominations and a British Independent Film Award. His debut graphic novel is called Anfield Road. It was the Observer’s graphic novel of the month and nominated for Best Graphic Novel at the Broken Frontier Awards 2024. Shepherd also teaches at Central Saint Martins, inspiring the next generation of animators.
